“As Capital District Governor, I enthusiastically endorse Art Riley for Vice-President for 2018-19 for Kiwanis International.  I have worked with Art in the past while he was Capital District Governor and then as he served as International Trustee.  Art is always ready to encourage Kiwanians, to lend his talents with training seminars, and always ready to help facilitate discussions.  This past year, he organized aid for the Texas Flood Victims; many Capital District Kiwanians donated money, toys, and gift cards for flood victims.  Art has much experience in supporting Aktion Clubs, Key Clubs, Builder and K-Kids programs.  His career as a pharmacist gives him much experience in global health issues; his business background has given him management, leadership, and relationship skills.  Art’s goals are to energize and continue the I-Plan implementation.  Another one of his goals is to promote international understanding between regions and districts.  We have many Kiwanis Clubs doing great work, and members need to continue this on the international level.   Art Riley has the enthusiasm, the drive, the knowledge to be our next International Vice-President.  Please support Art Riley and cast your vote for Art!”

“Art and I were Trustees together and I know Art to be a dedicated Kiwanian who has the best interest of the organization in mind. Art served as the Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee and was instrumental in loweringthe budget. Art Riley will make a very good Kiwanis International Vice President.”

Dewey Smith
Past International Trustee

“I have known Art since we came together as Governors in 2007-08. Art is very dedicated, committed and motivated in his Kiwanis work. He believes in strong Kiwanis District world-wide and his board experience has provided the background to understand the different cultures and needs of Kiwanis Districts. He is a great person to work with.

Art is a great person to work with and is intent to build a stronger membership by growing Kiwanis through opening clubs and making existing clubs stronger. Another of Art’s priorities is to build strong leadership throughout Kiwanis International starting at the club level. Art is extremely approachable, fun to work with and very dedicated in his service. I am very much aware of his governance, leadership, and commitment that he has given to his club and to his local community. Art and his wife Vickie have very strong family values, support and connections with Kiwanis going back many years.

Having served with him as a fellow Governor, I have no hesitation in recommending and supporting him for the position of Vice President, Kiwanis International, 2018-2019.”

Past Governor, New Zealand – South Pacific District

“I met Art for the first time about 4 years ago during a KI Convention. When I was governor he was the counselor of my district Belgium-Luxembourg. I was impressedabout his motivation and his new and interesting ideas about the future of our Kiwanis family. That’s one of the reasons why I invite you to vote for him as a candidate for vice president. We need a hard working leader such as Art who can give Kiwanis the future it deserves. On the other site Art has also a great heart. Not only for children but also for his friends and family. My wife Karine and I have a lot of respect for Art and his friendly wife Vickie. They feel like good friends.”

Past Governor, Belgium/Luxembourg District Kiwanis

“Working with Art Riley during the time we both served as governors to our respective districts of Kiwanis gave me a taste of his dedication to community, and love of our organization. He was fun to work with, yet took our assignments seriously. Both he and his wife, Vickie, are compassionate about Kiwanis and have proven their dedication to our goal of serving the children of the world. As our leader, I know that Art will put his heart and soul into the mission of Kiwanis around the world.”

Past Governor, New England District Kiwanis

“Kiwanis is 103 years old and challenged by a changing world with increased needs and fewer resources.  Many of us remain stuck in a rut of clubs and members who believe in the past and have trouble seeing into the future.  Kiwanis International needs a visionary who looks at the future with optimism and hope.  Kiwanis needs a leader who is experienced as a businessman who successfully navigated a changing world adapting and embracing new ways.  Art Riley is that person.  I have known Art and Vickie for several years sharing many conversations.  Each one of them resulted in me understanding where Art Riley’s heart is with regard to service, to children, and to communities.  I have seen him in action as a fellow club member and I have seen his help as a trustee-counselor.  Most importantly, I have seen him weigh the future of Kiwanis carefully, critically, and caringly.  Art understands the importance of our future and is uniquely prepared to lead us on a critical journey, firmly, and carefully into the future.  As a Kiwanian of many years, I fully and confidently endorse Arthur Riley as a candidate for Kiwanis International Vice President.  He has the drive, ability, talent, and heart to lead us into our bright, vibrant Kiwanis future.”

Past Governor, Pennsylvania District Kiwanis

“I am honored to endorse Arthur (Art) Riley for the position of Kiwanis International Vice President.  Having served with Art as Lt Governors and District Trustees for Capital District, and District Governor during Art’s tenure as International Trustee, I know his Kiwanis heart. Diana and I have come to know Art and Vickie very well, and they are truly a dedicated Kiwanis family. I have not met a more committed and capable Kiwanis leader in my 45 years in Kiwanis.  Art has the leadership skills, experience, and passion, bold ideas and personal commitment to best lead this great organization.  Art has the right “prescription” to make Kiwanis International healthier and stronger through expanded service and enhanced member experience.  Please give Art Riley your support.”

Past Governor, Capital District Kiwanis

“For more than thirty years I have watched Art exemplify the values of civic involvement and community leadership. He is a man of high character with indisputable honesty and integrity who is an outstanding leader of citizenship, patriotism and community service. His dedication to Kiwanis demonstrates his lifelong quest to serve and a desire to cultivate leadership and service in others.  He has a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others and has the ability to transform people, organizations and communities. I believe he is a forward thinking game-changer who has the ability to motivate, energize and guide others to facilitate solutions and change in any circumstance. Art is a well-respected community member with a stellar reputation who will exceed any expectations for this position and will excel at any given challenge.  I give my highest recommendation to Arthur Riley for Vice President of Kiwanis International.”

“I’ve had the honor of serving in Kiwanis at the club, Division and District levels.  I’ve been to every International Convention since 2005.  As a result, I’ve met manyKiwanians from all over the world and had the pleasure of working with many of them to provide a better life for the children; our future.  One fellow Kiwanian who really stands out is Art Riley.  He is truly dedicated to our mission, putting his time and treasure into loving and supporting children locally and globally.  Art’s upbeat attitude and easy going manner may hide his deep feelings about what Kiwanis means for the world from some, but I can assure you that Art is the perfect prescription for Kiwanis and I recommend you vote for him as International Vice-President in Las Vegas this coming June.”
